A barren wasteland with a familiar name. Past escapades found peace in sequestering their curse away from society, seeking shelter from an ever-encroaching horde of undead, or containing a deadly scientific secret within the cold recesses of space. Each adventure offered a detailed pixel-art world with a deep-dive into an isolated narrative experience. Four years later, and we are ready to raise the curtain on the next leg in the legendary series. We are proud to announce:
"Don’t Escape: 4 Days in a Wasteland"
Don’t Escape: 4 Days in a Wasteland is the next title in the Don’t Escape series by award-winning-flash-game-designer and friend, Scriptwelder. For those of you who keenly follow Scriptwelder’s work, or have been keeping up with our announcements by means of our social media, you may have already noticed our launch announcement that went live earlier today.
Despite sharing a name across its four titles, you will not need to play each game to keep from being lost. While the mechanics and style remain consistent across the series, each story remains isolated to the title that encompasses them. That being said, many of you may be hearing of this series for the first time; here are some of the basics to help alleviate any questions or concerns that may arise.
The Don’t Escape series is a point-and-click sci-fi adventure with each title in the series offering an isolated adventure and story. It presents itself by means of logic-based-puzzles that can and should be solved throughout the time designated in-game. With several puzzles offered through each act of the adventure, multiple endings will make themselves known based on how thoroughly you searched and interacted with your surroundings.
For veterans and newcomers alike, Don’t Escape: 4 Days in a Wasteland offers a phenomenally modern look at a classic genre of gaming.
